Had a really interesting experience with crystal essences this morning, following my course with Caroline Thomas I’d experimented and made essences with both Flourite & Rhondite crystals.
I’d then combined drops of the 2 mother essences to make a dosage bottle & have been adding to the water trough in my horses field, which is inhabited by 4 other horses, for the last 10 days.
Firstly Jasper’s sarcoids have been literally shedding left, right & centre this past week, but as he has a range of treatments its difficult to pin-point this as the reason.
But its the behavior of the other horses that is really interesting, a couple of times last week, 1 or 2 of them would come over & drink shortly after I’d added the essences, which I just put down to coincidence (I can be a bit of a cynic from time to time).
However what happened this morning just blew me away.
One of the horses walked deliberately from about 500m away straight up to the trough & started to drink as soon as I started adding the essence, he was drinking big gulps & quite a lot, i’d backed away slightly as he is not always the most confident horse, but when I approached to start adding more, he started drinking right beneath where the drops were falling, seeing this I offered the bottle to him & he stuck his tongue out as if to suggest I just put them straight in his mouth.
Opting for a compromise I put a few drops on the back of my hand, he licked these off straight away, so I repeated this a few times. He had that lovely soft look in his eye my boys get from self-medicating on herbs & oils, he then rested his head on my arm & just stood with me for a few moments, before wandering off to join the rest of the herd.
This is completely out of character for this horse, which is what made it really hit home for me. That he a) needed the crystal essence and b) was really enjoying the experience.
Check back tomorrow And I’ll quickly blog how to make a crystal essence so you can try it with your horses (or dogs/cats/other pets) if you want.
Until next time
With Love
